Dong Nai Province is poised to make a major push in industrial infrastructure, with plans to simultaneously break ground on three large-scale industrial parks adjacent to Long Thanh International Airport on August 19. Covering a total area of approximately 2,250 hectares, these projects are expected to mark a turning point in investment attraction and economic development in Vietnam’s southern key economic region.
According to the Dong Nai People’s Committee, the three industrial parks scheduled for groundbreaking include:
Long Duc 3 Industrial Park: Spanning over 244 hectares, with an estimated infrastructure investment of VND 1,600 billion.
Bau Can – Tan Hiep Industrial Park (Phase 1): Covering 1,000 hectares, with an estimated infrastructure investment of VND 9,000 billion.
Xuan Que – Song Nhan Industrial Park (Phase 1): Also covering 1,000 hectares with a similar infrastructure investment of approximately VND 9,000 billion.
All three industrial parks are located in a zone planned for synchronized development with Long Thanh Airport—Vietnam’s flagship national infrastructure project, set to become a key regional and international logistics hub.
On August 1, Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, held a working session with relevant departments, local authorities, and the investors of the three industrial projects to review progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure the groundbreaking ceremony can take place as scheduled on August 19.
Emphasizing the strategic importance of the three parks, Chairman Duc stated: “These industrial parks are not merely standard developments—they are vital components of a broader plan to create new centers for industry and logistics, enhancing Dong Nai’s economic standing in the post-airport era.”
He directed all stakeholders to urgently complete the following tasks before August 15:
Establish compensation and resettlement councils for the communes involved;
Form land valuation appraisal boards for each project;
Finalize technical documents, environmental impact assessments, and other necessary approvals.
The rapid development of these industrial parks is a key element of Dong Nai’s industrial–urban–service strategy. It also represents a proactive move to capitalize on the global shift in supply chains, as international companies increasingly seek destinations with robust infrastructure, strong connectivity, and investor-friendly policies.
Once operational, the three parks are expected to attract major investments in high-tech manufacturing, logistics, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and supporting industries. In addition to stimulating industrial output, the projects are forecast to generate tens of thousands of jobs and significantly boost the income and living standards of local residents.
By aligning industrial growth with the progress of Long Thanh Airport, Dong Nai is positioning itself as a dynamic and forward-looking province at the heart of Vietnam’s economic transformation.
