Dividend Record Date from September 9 to 13: A Series of Major Companies Set to Finalize, One Enterprise to Pay Nearly 14 Trillion VND in Dividends

According to statistics, 30 enterprises have announced their dividend record dates for the week of September 9 to 13. Of these, 28 companies will pay dividends in cash, with the highest rate being 60% and the lowest at 2%. Additionally, two companies will issue dividends in the form of shares, and two others will opt for a combination of both cash and stock dividends.

On September 11, VNDIRECT Securities Corporation (Ticker: VND) will finalize its list of shareholders eligible for a 2023 dividend payout in cash at a rate of 5% (equivalent to 500 VND per share). The payment is expected to be made on September 25. With over 1.52 billion shares currently in circulation, VNDIRECT plans to allocate 761 billion VND for this dividend round. Of this, I.P.A Investment Group JSC is set to receive 196 billion VND from its ownership of over 393 million shares. Chairwoman Pham Minh Huong will collect nearly 18 billion VND in this dividend payment.
Meanwhile, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PVGas, Ticker: GAS) has announced that on September 16, it will finalize its list of shareholders for a 2023 dividend payout at a rate of 60%, or 6,000 VND per share. This rate is three times higher than the proposal made at the 2023 General Meeting of Shareholders and was approved at the 2024 annual meeting. With nearly 2.3 billion shares in circulation, the company is expected to disburse a total of 13.78 trillion VND. Most of this amount will flow to its parent company, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), which holds 95.76% of PVGas’s capital. Dividend payments are scheduled to begin on November 28, 2024.
On the same date, NET Detergent JSC (Ticker: NET) will finalize its list of shareholders for a 2023 cash dividend payout at a rate of 50%, equivalent to 5,000 VND per share. With nearly 22.4 million shares outstanding, the company plans to allocate about 112 billion VND for this dividend payment, with the distribution set to begin on September 27, 2022. NET has a tradition of paying high cash dividends, with the highest rates reaching 60% (6,000 VND per share) in 2011 and 2020, along with share bonuses of 100% in 2014 and 40% in 2016.
Additionally, on September 16, Digiworld Corporation (Ticker: DGW) will finalize its list of shareholders for a 2023 dividend payment with a total rate of 35%, consisting of a 5% cash dividend (equivalent to 500 VND per share) and a 30% stock dividend (shareholders will receive 30 new shares for every 100 shares held). With more than 167 million shares in circulation, DGW will spend approximately 84 billion VND on the cash dividend and issue over 50 million new shares, raising its charter capital to nearly 2.2 trillion VND. DGW plans to begin the cash dividend payment on September 25, 2024.
